Kinston is 45 minutes each way, and that's my cost, not yours. The first visit finds the fault. If the repair needs a part I don't have with me, I order it and come back to fit it — the return trip costs you nothing.
Kinston sits on the Neuse. If high water, a storm or a burst pipe has put water into an appliance, don't plug it back in to see what works — water in the controls can short them the moment power returns. I check it first, and if it isn't worth saving you get that in writing for the insurance claim.
