Gas or electric, built-in or slide-in. Ovens are the appliance people put up with for longest — a temperature that's 40 degrees out ruins baking long before anyone calls about it. $99 to come out and find the fault. Then one flat price for that repair, approved by you before anything gets touched.

What usually goes wrong
Each of these has more than one possible cause — a different part at a different price. Finding out which one is what the $99 diagnostic is for.
On a gas oven this is not something to take apart yourself. Tell me whether it's gas or electric when you book.
Baking fails long before anything looks broken. I check it with a thermometer and a meter instead of guessing.
Turn it off and don't keep clicking. If you smell gas strongly, leave the house and call the gas company first.
Don't force the door. Self-clean runs the oven hot enough to damage it — it's the most common reason an oven dies the week before a holiday.
It won't come back on its own. Tell me the brand when you book — built-in and luxury ovens have their own pricing.
You can get by on the broiler for a while, but it's not a fix — and it's usually a straightforward repair once it's diagnosed.
Pricing
One number, everything in it — parts, labor, the trip and the sales tax are inside the price you approve. There is no second invoice for parts. 1 year on parts, 120 days on labor. If I open it up and find a second fault, you get a separate price for that one and you decide — I don’t add it to the bill on my own.

No travel charge either. Minimum job $299.
Farther out I quote the trip up front: travel from $95, $450 minimum on the repair. If it isn't worth it for you, I'll say so.
