What usually goes wrong
Each of these has more than one possible cause — a different part at a different price. Finding out which one is what the $99 diagnostic is for.
Don't keep re-running cycles to force it out — that can turn a small repair into a bigger one. Leave it as it is until I get there.
Clothes come out soaked and heavy. Stop running spin cycles until it's looked at — forcing it can make the repair bigger.
Turn the water off at the valves behind the washer and stop using it until it's looked at — water under a floor does more damage than the washer is worth.
Stop using the spin cycle until it's checked. Caught early it's a routine repair; left alone it can wear the machine past the point where fixing it makes sense.
Cycles drag on, or it stops with an empty drum. Send me the model number and what the display shows.
Each code points somewhere different. Send me the code with your request — it's where the diagnosis starts.
Pricing
One number, everything in it — parts, labor, the trip and the sales tax are inside the price you approve. There is no second invoice for parts. 1 year on parts, 120 days on labor. If I open it up and find a second fault, you get a separate price for that one and you decide — I don’t add it to the bill on my own.

No travel charge either. Minimum job $299.
Farther out I quote the trip up front: travel from $95, $450 minimum on the repair. If it isn't worth it for you, I'll say so.
