The ice maker in your fridge or freezer, and the dispenser in the door. Stand-alone under-counter machines are a different job — tell me the make and I'll quote that one separately. $99 to come out and find the fault. Then one flat price for that repair, approved by you before anything gets touched.

What usually goes wrong
Each of these has more than one possible cause — a different part at a different price. Finding out which one is what the $99 diagnostic is for.
If the freezer has warmed up too, tell me that first — that's the bigger problem. If it's cold and the bin just stays empty, it's the ice maker side, and on a fridge that's otherwise fine it's usually worth fixing.
It's making ice, just badly — and it tends to get worse, not better. Worth a look before it stops altogether.
Around the bin, on the freezer floor or under the fridge. Worth catching early — it spreads, and water under a fridge does its damage out of sight.
Tell me whether you hear anything when you press the paddle — that one detail helps on the visit.
If you're running out faster than it makes it, something has changed — a healthy ice maker keeps up with normal use.
Pricing
One number, everything in it — parts, labor, the trip and the sales tax are inside the price you approve. There is no second invoice for parts. 1 year on parts, 120 days on labor. If I open it up and find a second fault, you get a separate price for that one and you decide — I don’t add it to the bill on my own.

No travel charge either. Minimum job $299.
Farther out I quote the trip up front: travel from $95, $450 minimum on the repair. If it isn't worth it for you, I'll say so.
